He also encouraged the student to give their views about wetlands, wherein some of the students pointed out that protecting wetlands will help keep the environment healthy. Today, wetlands are being destroyed at a very fast rate in the name of development. We must save these wetlands. Subsequently, Forest Ranger of Patna Shree Manoj Kumar explained that wetlands are low-lying ecological features which store water. They help to recharge ground water, thereby ensuring that we get this life-giving resource. Let’s take a pledge to conserve the invaluable resource of water for the sake of survival of Mankind. Survival holds a lot of attraction for people. It is not possible to do so in the absence of water supplies.
While touring the Rajdhani Jalashay, the children were treated to the magnificent sight of birds like the Cormorant, Lesser Whistling Duck, and Lalsar (Water Bird).
Participation certificates were given to all the students. DFO Shree Subodh Kumar Gupta conferred the first prize to Megha Kumari, the second to Rani Kumari, and third to Mamta Kumari.
