Ara, April 2. Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) and Bihar Swasthya Suraksha Samiti (BSSS) jointly organized a One Day Training Programme on the Transaction Management System (TMS) 2.0 for the doctors and Arogya Mitras of private and government hospitals of Buxar, Rohtas, Kaimur, and Ara Districts today. These hospitals are enlisted under the government of India’s flagship Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) health insurance scheme. TMS 2.0 is an upgraded website portal of this scheme. ADRI provides technical support to BSSS for the roll-out of the scheme in Bihar. Both institutions are located in Patna.
The training program was inaugurated jointly by the Dr. Shivendra Kumar Sinha, Civil Surgeon, Bhojpur and the Administrative Officer of BSSS Shree Shailesh Chandra Diwakar.
While addressing the participants, the Civil Surgeon stated that people of this region, which was once called Shahabad, were able to receive this training under one roof solely due to the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Earlier, the Civil Surgeon honored the invited guests by presenting them with mementoes as well as saplings.
While addressing the participants during the inaugural session, Shree Shailesh Chandra Diwakar, AO, BSSS said that the government is taking the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the smooth running of the scheme. This AI tool will not only help resolve all the deficiencies coming up on the portal but will also take action on all fraudulent issues after identifying them.
Dr. Alok Ranjan, Director-Operations, BSSS set the context of the training program before the start of the technical session.
Dr. Niraj Kumar Singh, Director-Healthcare; Santosh Kumar Jha, Director-IT; Prakash Chandra Jha, Ritesh Mishra; Dr. Suraj Shankar, Team Lead, CHP-ADRI; and Anisha Saxena managed the proceedings of the technical sessions according to their different fields of expertise.
Dr. Prateek and Shree Mrityunjay Kumar, DPC, Ayushman Bharat, Bhojpur welcomed the guests present at the event prior to the technical sessions.
The program also saw the participation of Ayushman Bharat officers Satyendra Kumar, Indrajeet Goswami, Dilip Kumar, and Sanjeev Kumar, who had come from Patna.
