Events of EIACP
Patna. 30th January. January 30 happens to be National Cleanliness Day. This significant day in our lives was observed today with the EIACP or Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme Centre at the Center for Studies on Environment and Climate (CSEC) teaming up with Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) to hold a Lecture-cum-Cleanliness Drive. Both CSEC and JSS are hosted by the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI). This campaign was organized chiefly to create environmentally-conscious citizens out of people in general and our students in particular. Its theme was “Clean India, Green Future”, which sought to throw light on the direct link between public well-being and clean and sustainable surroundings. A video was also screened on waste management and Government of India’s Mission LiFE or Lifestyle for Environment. The event was compered by Dr. Sunil Kumar Gupta of CSEC and Dr. Sandeep Kumar of JSS-Patna. Ms. Pooja Kumari, Sanjeev Kumar, Gulshan Patel, and Pankaj Kumar of ADRI were also present. Further, more than 50 students participated in this event.
