Events of ADRI (Patna - Ranchi)
Patna, 23 October. The incidence of dengue has grown dramatically around the world in recent decades. It resembles a flu-like illness and should be suspected during an outbreak when high fever is accompanied by severe headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pains, nausea, vomiting, or rash. Symptoms usually last from a few days to a week in uncomplicated cases.
A vast majority of cases are asymptomatic or uncomplicated and hence the actual numbers may be under reported. However, in the presence of a pre-existing illness certain complications are likely to be encountered.
A free Dengue Screening Camp will be organised at Sen Diagnostics, Budh Marg, Patna on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 08:00 AM – 11:00 AM in collaboration with the world-renowned Abbott Diagnostics and ADRI in an effort to assess the status of the recent outbreak of Dengue in Bihar.
