Dr. Braj Bihari Kumar, Chairman, ICSSR Visit to ADRI

Patna, 30 October. Dr. Braj Bihari Kumar, Chairman of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) on Tuesday said in Patna, that Bihar's universities and Research Institutions must send more and more number of research proposals in the field of social sciences to the council. Interacting with the researchers and faculty members at ADRI, Dr. Kumar said that "Bihar lags severely in sending research proposals to the council. Universities here must focus on sending high quality proposals to the council. ICSSR has no dearth of money but the proposals sent must be of high quality and ideology-blind".

Introducing the guest, Dr. Shaibal Gupta, Member Secretary, ADRI said that knowledge production can be augmented through more and more research, and social sciences must be a part of it. Fourth Industrial Revolution is all about artificial intelligence and knowledge production.

Media persons and members of academia including Professor Kumudini Sinha, Professor Nandini Mehta were present on the occasion.
