Comprehensive City-specific Clean Air Action Plan for Muzaffarpur and Gaya



Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change (CEECC) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI), Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP), have undertaken research and stakeholder consultations to develop a comprehensive Muzaffarpur and Gaya Clean Air Action Plan (MCAAP & GCAAP). The preparation of MCAAP & GCAAP is supported by SED Funds. The consortium has concluded its research and analysis of air quality of Muzaffarpur and Gaya city agglomeration and, based on the techno-economic assessment study, has identified a set of comprehensive control measures. The clean air action plan for Muzaffarpur and Gaya was launched by Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Sushil Kumar Modi on September 23, 2020.
