Air Pollution and Climate Change

BACKGROUND

The Centre for Studies on Environment and Climate (CSEC) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) is looking for ‘Research Interns’ for its policy-based research in Air Pollution and Climate Change sector. The internship will provide opportunity to engage in ongoing research of the Centre on Air Pollution. The internship is suitable for college students of science/Engineering or equivalent field.

SCOPE OF WORK

The responsibility of the intern will be to assist Project Lead with the given tasks, depending on the applicant capability and timeline of engagement. The major task will be conducting literature reviews, field investigations to generate data on air quality and related parameters. Also, assisting in mapping based on pre-defined framework and summarize the findings as report or policy brief.

EXPECTED QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science/Engineering/other relevant discipline.
• Must have strong research skills- capability to carry out  literature review is a key requisite.
• Knowledge of field survey, data collection, and data  analysis using basic tools like MS excel, MS word etc.
• The candidate must compete the basic requirement  such as, good writing and oral communication skills, and  dedication to work.
