Applications are invited for the Research Internship at The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) at Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI).
About CHP:
The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) has been set up with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to strengthen the health sector in Bihar with a multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary approach. Its aim is to engage in rigorous analysis of the health system and inform policy makers to fine-tune interventions for even stronger outcomes. CHP conducts data driven research for formulating policy recommendations for the State government
About the Internship:
In line with global mental health policy, national mental health policy and Mental Healthcare Act (2017), the State government is required to work towards Public Mental Health System strengthening in Bihar. A Public Mental Health System Assessment study is being conducted at Centre for Health Policy, Asian Development Research Institute, Patna with the ultimate objective of implementation of Mental Healthcare Act (2017) in the state. The Centre is seeking interns to assist in this project. At the completion of the internship, a Certificate will be issued by the Institution.
Responsibilities of Intern
The Intern will assist in rapid appraisal study by performing the following tasks-
i. Data Management
ii. Small writing and editing assignments
iii. Interview transcription
iv. Provide any other form of research assistance and technical assistance required.
Desired Qualification & Experience
a) Current students in the field of Law or any other Social Sciences.
b) Good writing and communication skills.
c) Good organizational skills as well as interpersonal skill
d) Efficient in software’s including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Internship Location:
Patna- Bihar.
Working hours and holidays:
Monday- Friday-10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Duration:
3 months; June- August, 2019*
