About Organization

The Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change (CEECC) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) is a research think tank and an ENVIS Resource Partner under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The Centre’s research work majorly goes around Water Resource Management, Air Pollution, and Climate Change. The Centre is looking for a motivated skilled Implementation Coordinator to support the Programme Management Unit (PMU) for air quality management in Bihar.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters of science, technology or engineering in the Environment or Sustainbility or equivant disciplines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the state government and other stakeholders for timebound implementation of the clean air action plan;
• Actively engage in establishing coordination between relevant departments, and other stakeholders to leverage the support for implementation of the clean air action plans;
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation, field-based surveys, data collection, data analysis, literature reviews,etc. as support to mapping progress of the programme implementation;
• Contribute to the overall interventions initiated by the PMU to improve air quality.

DesiredExperiencesand Skills

• Working experience of 2 years in field-based project/ programme implementation and management, specifically with government and social organization.
• Data analysis skills and practical experience in working with GIS and statistical tools will be given preference.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills
• Good writing experience like – report, research article, project proposal, blog, etc.
