About Organization

The Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change (CEECC) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) is a research think-tank and an ENVIS Resource Partner under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The Centre’s research work majorly goes around Water Resource Management, Air Pollution, and Climate Change. The Centre is looking for a motivated and skilled Research Associate to provide crucial research support to the evidence-based policy research programmes in areas including, but not limited to climate change, air pollution, water resources management, and energy efficiency.

Roles andResponsibilities

• Performing advanced statistical analysis using advance tools and modeling techniques;
• Conduting quantitative research to prepare evidence-based reports, concept notes, proposals, and synthesizing feedbacks/ comments into recommendations;
• Contributing to the overall development of the organization, carrying out tasks assigned by the Centre.

Desired Experieces and Skills

• Prior work experience of at least 2 years in research projects, handling data analysis and academic writing in the relevant field;
• Working knowledge of public policy and monitoring & evaluation in the relevant field. 
• Research data analysis, using geo-statistical tools and models using Python, R, ArcGIS etc.;
• Demostrative writing experience like – report, research article, project proposal, blog etc.;
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonalabilities.

Essential Qualifications

A candidate must have a Master's degree in disciplines like – Statistics, Data Science or Bachelores in Engineering/ Technology with relevant skill and experience.
