Brief of the Organization:
The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) in Patna has been set up with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to strengthen the health sector in Bihar with a multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary approach. Its aim is to engage in rigorous analysis of the health system and inform policy makers to fine tune interventions for even stronger outcomes. Aligned with the larger goal of ADRI, the Center is also working on impact focused knowledge management via institutionalizing, showcasing, and facilitating quality and sustainable evidence-based learning through research and action across diverse sectors – Health, Education, Livelihood, Climate Sustainability, Gender Equality, Finance and allied; along with intersectoral linkages for multiple partners and varied stakeholders.

Eligibility:
Required
- Master’s/Post graduation in Public Health/Health Care Management/Hospital Administration/ Biological Science or equivalent
- Good knowledge in project management, field team management, stakeholder engagement, governmental liaison, partner and collaborator management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel
- Demonstrable experience of team building and project coordination
- Experience of one or more years of engagement with national/internationals organization in project coordination/management positions
- Experience of liaising with stakeholders and national/international donors

- Experience of team building and management
- Experience of maintaining coordination between project teams of multiple partners

Responsibilities:
State project coordinator will undertake the following roles and responsibilities, specifically represented by but not limited to the details below, under the direction and guidance of the supervisor:
Operational Management and Capacity Building:
- Supervision and monitoring of all the district project team members ensuring efficiency and timeliness of all the project activities and coordination
- To conduct training of the district team members for successful project delivery
- Ensuring effective documentation of project efforts, learning and achievements.
- Solving the technical glitch with IHIP application & helping the team to learn
- Preparing weekly/quarterly/monthly/annual reports, case studies, briefs, presentations & other reports to interpret and disseminate outcomes and learnings
- Manage the relationship with the vendors / consultants; brief, monitor and support the consultant to achieve objectives of the assignment; and, ensure high quality of output / deliverable is delivered on time and at reasonable cost.
- Coordination with the district and state IDSP cell
- Participating in the development and testing of the tools and platform for data collection, reporting and data management
- Periodic collation, cleaning and descriptive analysis of the data from the system, secondary sources and studies
- Overall project coordination and consequent Reporting to Research Associate and Project Lead
Other Responsibilities
- Understanding and collating the learnings from different sites and regions into a common information sharing module and disseminate the same
- Prepare slide-decks for sharing data and findings with Government stakeholders
- Prepare reports on findings / results from different research studies and program interventions for communicating with stakeholders at various levels.
- Documenting project progress for use in every successive monthly meeting with district and state leadership of government and for sharing with external stakeholders.
- Travel within or beyond the program areas for 10-30% of the time.
Remuneration:
Commensurate with knowledge and experience. Maximum Rs. 60,000 per month will be offered for the deserving candidate.
