About Organization

The Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change (CEECC) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) is a research think tank and an ENVIS Resource Partner under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The Centre’s research work majorly goes around Water Resource Management, Air Pollution, and Climate Change. The Centre is also providing evidence-based research support to policymakers at different levels. Therefore, the Centre is looking for a motivated and skilled Research Associate to provide crucial support in the ongoing research projects on climate change and air quality management.

Responsibilities

· Providing technical support for the policy and research programmes in areas including, but not limited to climate change, air pollution, energy efficiency.

· Performing advanced statistical analysis using advance software and modeling techniques.

· Conduting quantitative research to prepare evidence-based reports, concept notes, proposals, and synthesizing feedbacks/ comments into recommendations.

· Contributing to the overall development of the organization,  carrying out tasks assigned by the Centre.

Skills Required

· Excellent in data analysis skills, and handling statistical tools like Python, R, STATA, SPSS, etc. programming language.

· Working knowledge in machine learning and deep learning simulations (Java Scripts is preferred). 

· Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

· Good writing skills: report, research article, project proposal, blog, etc.

Essential Qualifications

A candidate must have a Master's degree in disciplines like – Statistics, Data Science or Bachelores in Engineering/ Technology with relevant skill and experience. 

Experiences

· Experience of at least 2 years, data science, data analysis

· Experience in project/ programme monitoring & evaluation is preferred.
