About Organization
The Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change (CEECC) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) is a research think tank and an ENVIS Resource Partner under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The Centre’s research work majorly goes around Water Resource Management, Air Pollution, and Climate Change. The Centre is also providing evidence-based research support to policymakers at different levels.
After successful completion of the city-specific Clean Air Action Plan, a Program Management Unit (PMU) has been envisaged to be established at BSPCB in collaboration with CEECC, ADRI. The Centre is looking for a motivated and skilled Implementation Coordinator to coordinate the PMU mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between the state government the stakeholders for the air quality program implementation and management.
- Actively engage in establishing coordination between relevant departments, partner NGO’s, and implementation teams to leverage the best support for the implementation of the clean air action plans.
- Actively engage in monitoring and evaluation, field-based surveys, data collection, data analysis, literature reviews to prepare status reports and other knowledge outcomes on clean air program implementation.
- Coordinate training and capacity building sessions, stakeholders meetings, necessary field-based interventions, etc.

- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills
- Good writing skills: report, research article, project proposal, blog, etc.
Essential Qualifications
A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Technology/ Engineering or a Master's degree in the environment or other relevant disciplines.
Desired Experiences
- Working experience of 3-4 years in field-based project/ programme implementation and management, specifically with government and social organization.
- Data analysis skills and practical experience in working with GIS and statistical tools be given preference.
