Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Research Lead to oversee our Data and Learning initiatives across all ADRI projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in computer science, data science, and research methodologies, coupled with a passion for socio-economic development. This role involves leading a team of researchers, managing data projects, and ensuring the highest standards of research quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage various research teams, providing strategic direction and oversight.
Design and implement research projects focused on socio-economic development, policy analysis, and sustainable development.
Develop and maintain robust data collection, analysis, and reporting systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify research needs and opportunities.
Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences and seminars.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and data privacy regulations.
Mentor and develop junior researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in research and data analysis, preferably in a leadership role.
Proven track record of published research and successful project management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, STATA).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
