Farmers’ Income: Issues, Determinants and Strategies

Description: We are looking to hire one full-time Research Associate (RA) to conduct an ICSSR sponsored study on “Farmers’ Income: Issues, Determinants and Strategies”.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting in field survey, data analysis

Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations

Qualifications: Post graduate in Economics or Statistics with minimum 55% marks, (preferably with M.Phil/Ph.D/NET/SLET). Students planning to apply to PhD programmes or those transitioning between jobs may also apply for this position.

Candidates with the following skills will be preferred:

*Good organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

*Fluent in English and Hindi;

*ability to work remotely and travel to the field

*Work experience will be an advantage

*Resourceful and detail-oriented

*Strong interpersonal skills

*Proven ability to work independently in challenging contexts

Benefits and timeline: The compensation will be as per the stipulated guidelines. You will work in close collaboration with senior researchers and there will be opportunity for learning. This is a fixed-term assignment of 18 months.
