About the Centre

Development agenda has now been an acronym with natural resources management and hence climate change has been the greatest barrier. Looking at the similar forefront Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change (CEECC) at Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) was conceived and has been involved in providing a base to the research agenda gap in the field of natural resources management and climate change. The Centre has entrusted a studyon supporting the financial framework for the state action plan on climate change in Bihar under the aegis of Action on Climate Change (ACT) which is a joint initiative of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC), Government of India and DFID and other similar research studies. There it was evident that the research gap needs to be addressed to combat climate change so as to provide an efficient framework for policy making.The Centre hasundertaken studies that address various issues of climate change-- financing of the activities which can face the challenge of climate change, disaster management, clean green energy adaptation module and satiable water management and the like.
